The milestone for the world-famous gunsmith trade was laid in 1878 with the foundation of the "k. U. K.”, the technical school for the gun industry. Today the EUREGIO HTBLVA Ferlach offers weapon and security technology, but also manufacturing technology, engraving technology, jewellery design, blacksmiths and metal sculptors as well as industrial design.
